I recently unearthed these old photos of my maternal grandparents and grew nostalgic. I wasn't lucky enough to meet my maternal grandparents, but these photos make me feel like I've known them my whole life. The photos were all captured in Baku, Azerbaijan, which was part of the former Soviet Union.
